Kathmandu to Pokhara by Road, Pokhara to Jomsom by Flight, and Jomsom to Muktinath by Road.
Muktinath tour Package from Kathmandu to Pokhara about 206 km is smooth and takes 7 hours by a private car. So, it is better to go to Pokhara by road. This route provide chances to visit Manakamana Goddess Temple by cable car ride. From Pokhara to Jomsom, the roads are rough. So, it is better to take 15 mins scenic flight to Jomsom. After landing, 1:30 hrs drive will reach Muktinath Mandir.

Road condition till Muktinath is mountain road which is not in very good condition; you need a 4x4 vehicle to reach Muktinath Temple smoothly. The road construction till Muktinath Temple completed in 2008 and most of the road is off-road. The road till Beni is paved and in good condition from Pokhara. Pokhara to Beni is 85 Kilometers, on this stretch, you find the road gets damaged in few places due to landslides.
From Beni, the road goes alongside of Kaligandaki River till Muktinath and it is completely off-road, some stretches are very dangerous. The road is damaged due to landslides. After Jomsom, most of the road goes through Kaligandaki River till Kagbeni Village and after Kagbeni village the road is much better till Muktinath Temple. It takes 10-12 hours of drive to reach Muktinath from Pokhara. It is always advisable to go in a 4x4 vehicle for a comfortable Muktinath Yatra.
